[Izumo easily sifts through the crowd, glancing back at him to make sure he didn't get caught up in it. If it seems like Eric is starting to feel uncomfortable, he'll take him to s somewhat more secluded area.
And he raises an eyebrow.] That's not really answering my question.
Barks too loudly. He has a bigger bone then his mouth to chew on.
[ Eric tries his best to keep up, having a difficult time trying to walk beside Kusanagi from other people shoving and pushing, so he goes directly behind him. A small growl escaped his throat after being lightly shoved once again. ]
They're fine...I guess. Some still don't like me, not that I care what they think. [ Dewa. ] But, I don't mind them much, maybe.
[ That's about all he can muster to form an opinion on them. ]
There are always ways ta mess with him. [Izumo would know. He's practically seen Yata grown up under their care.
He hears the growl, stopping until Eric's beside him and starts walking again. He gives a look to the people that keeps shoving in them, a polite smile on his face as he excuses themselves through the crowd.]
'Maybe'? [He chuckles before glancing over at him, somewhat curious.] What about the rest o'us? Mikoto, Totsuka, Anna, and myself? [Curious because he knows the initial opinion the other members have on them.]
He steps up beside Kusanagi when he lets him. If it had gone on for much longer he would've either snapped or bolted, or both. And who knows where he would have ended up at. But now he was a pit on edge, jumping at the question. He looks at the ground thinking for a moment. ]
Mikoto-san is scary but nice. Totsuka-san is weird. Anna is...quiet. And Kusanagi-san is... [ He tilts his head ] weird but also nice.
[A good thing Izumo stopped then. He didn't want Eric to go run off after snapping. He stops at the crosswalk, dropping his cigarette and stepping on it to put out the dying ember.
But at his answer, he blinks a bit, surprised, but then he chuckles.] Is that what ya really think o'us?
[ He watches Kusanagi step on the cigarette, making sure to stay close. There were a lot of people everywhere but he tried his best to ignore them as long as they weren't brushing up or touching him, he could ignore them.
He just shrugs at the question, looking away. It's amazing he even got that much opinion out, he's not really going to expand or explain. ]
[ He stares in boredom over at the light that signified whether to go or not. When it finally moved he made sure to stay Kusanagi's side as the swarms of people began to move along with them.
He perks up at hearing English. Looking at Kusanagi for a quick moment before looking way, he shouldn't eavesdrop. But it was nice to hear English, good English especially, every now and then. ]
[ Eric tries his best to stay with Kusanagi. Even going so far to grab onto his jacket at one point when someone tried to go in between. His hand is off as soon as it came off however, as he put it back in his pockets. He probably shouldn't of done that. ]
Alright.
[ Not like he has a life that has been disrupted by this. He doesn't care. Kusanagi leads, he follows ]
[If he felt that grab, he doesn't say anything nor does he seem to mind. He's walked with Anna before in the city when they had to do errands, and she would often hold onto him not to get lost.
In a way, that almost feels the same.
He's taking a turn out of the crowd, though, and into a secluded alley. He doesn't tell Eric what they're doing or what they're about to do. But—] D'ya have a phone on ya?
[ Eric was a little bit more then relieved to know that they were gong into an alley. He didn't realize he was that tense from the crowds until he relaxed. Upon the question, Eric shuffles out his phone from his pocket and shows it to Kusanagi. ]
[ Though they haven't given him a lot of...in field experience of any sort with the gang, he would give any help he could. He did have some with Hikawa although those were quite...different experience that perhaps Homra didn't want from him. ]
I'll be sure ta ask ya. It'll give ya some good experience in the field, too.
[Partially why Izumo wanted to bring Eric with him. He knows the others doesn't quite trust him enough yet to be on the field with them, and usually Totsuka helps the newcomers settle in, but Izumo wants to be able to see how Eric does, too.
Gradually, he'll let Eric help out more in the field.]
[ He was still somewhat considered an enemy, for a few that still didn't trust him. He didn't blame them either, he did try to kill two people. And if Homra wanted people dead he would do that for them as well without a second thought, though he doesn't think everyone wanted him to. ]
For now, just listen, but if ya suspect anything's amiss, tell me.
[With that simple order, Izumo's back to leading until they arrive in front of what appears to be another bar, the air having a different feel from HOMRA.
He pushes the door open, and there's a thick fog of cigarette smoke filling the inside, cheerful laughter loud and almost obnoxious.]
Already when the door opens he doesn't like the place, it reminds him of the other places that he has visited before. But he stays quiet and just watches everything and anything while sticking close to Kusanagi. ]
[Izumo enters, seemingly unbothered by the atmosphere. Though, he does glance back at Eric, it's meaning clear: Just stay close.
The customers in the bar are a complete opposite of the usual ones that goes to Izumo's bar. They're loud, almost enough to the point where their own voices could barely be heard of spoken at a normal level.
He slides through the crowd, immediately walking up to the bar. Speaking English, he asks the barkeep to get his manager, and an overly polite smile had the barkeep scurrying to the back. In the meantime, Izumo scans the bar, easily spotting a few others their Clan had messed with in the past.]
[ He got the message loud and clear and made sure he stayed the same distance away from Kusanagi as he could.
He follows along easily enough, hearing everything that was said. Although he looked bored out of his mind he was well aware of everything that was around him. With only casual glances through the crowd to get a sense of everyone here. A lot of them were dangerous, he could tell. He was glad that he didn't recognize any of them from his previous gang. ]
[Knowing Mikoto, members from Eric's former gang might've completely turned to ash after he dealt with them.
Izumo waits by the bar, taking out his own cigarette and lighter, the familiar click of the latter lighting the former. He puts his lighter away in his pocket, but keeps his hand in there.
He waits a few minutes before the barkeep comes out, shakily telling the older man the manager wanted to speak to him alone. Breathing out smoke, he gives a nod, walking over to the door leading to the back before pausing and looks at Eric.] Stay by the door.
[ All he hopes is that none of them were left alive, he was never up for a reunion with any of them.
He nods, pushing himself off of the counter and walking towards the door.
While he leaned up against the wall he probably looked like the most out of place person. Being an underage scrawny, tall, foreigner looking kid in a bar filled with what looked like very dangerous people. But he had his knife and skills and an aura to back him up, so there was nothing for him to worry about any of these people. ]
[As Izumo enters the back room, he's distinctly aware of something being amiss in the room.
His suspicions were confirmed when he meets the gaze of a former gang leader without a gang to no longer lead.
A polite smile is thrown before Izumo is attacked, but Izumo easily deals with him soon enough and the gang leader is thrown through the door, silencing the cheery atmosphere and getting the attention of the other patrons.
Just the sight alone spurred the others on, and a fight erupts.]

He simply gives a nod, waiting for the light to turn so they could (somewhat) safely cross.
His PDA soon rings, prompting him to answer. He greets the person in English, his other hand tucked away into his pocket as he continues to speak.]

Izumo goes farther down the alley, eyes forward.] I need ta meet an informant o'mine who gave me a tip.
