[ That is another weird thing about Homra...treating injuries so diligently. Why not just leave it as a reminder or punishment? ]

Just so weird...

[Because they already have members who like to beat themselves up as punishment.

Izumo chuckles.]

[redstray]

[ At the chuckle Eric huffs and decides to pull up his hoodie over his head, trying to hide his face as best as he could before he shoved his hands into his pockets. He was just confirming his statement. ]

[It doesn't bug Izumo at all, at least. He's used to being called weird, and the others are the same.

They soon arrive at the bar, though, and fortunately, no one seems to be back yet. At least, that's what it seems like but Izumo's always been aware of his bar, so he suspects Mikoto's upstairs in his room sleeping.

Which makes it easier for Izumo to take Eric to the back, placing the supplies in a closet somewhere before he goes to get the first aid kit.] Take a seat.

[ Eric welcones the quiet bar and follows Kusanagi to the back. He jumps a bit at the small order before scrambling 9ver to one of the stools. ]

Ah y-yes.

[toremainbehind]

[He comes over with the first aid kit, placing it on the counter while he takes a seat on the stool next to him.

Izumo holds out his hand to Eric.] Lemme see.

[redstray]

[ He fidgets a bit, eyeing the kit and the hand offered. They've done this before, patching him up, but he was still wary over it.

It takes a little while before Eric takes his hand slowly out of his pocket and places it on Kusanagi's. Though his face was neutral he was watching intently for any sign to withdraw his hand.]

[Izumo examines the burns carefully, taking in everything to see if it's worse than a minor burn.

He digs into the kit to get some burn gel, gently applying it onto Eric's hand. He's quiet as he works, not once saying anything.]

[redstray]

[ Eric squirms a bit as his hand is examined. He lets out a small whimper when the gel is applied shutting his eyes. It was just something to help heal him, that was it. But still it made him on edge. ]

[toremainbehind]

[Eyes flickers over to him at the small whimper.]

Is it bothering ya? [He gently soothes the gel over the burns, almost making it seem like he's massaging Eric's hand in the process, too.]

[redstray]

[ He shakes his head but still squirms a bit at the massage, not used to this sort of thing. ]

[toremainbehind]

[Izumo says nothing, not even when Eric squirms.

But he's finished soon enough, satisfied with his work.] Any other burns you're trying ta hide from me?

[redstray]

[ He shakes his head. ]

That was it.

[ And he is being honest]

Good t'know.

[Pleased, Izumo starts to work on his own burns.]

[redstray]

Do you...you uhm...

[ He wanted to ask if he needed any help, not wanting to feel useless. And it was his fault that he got burned in the first place]

What is it?

[He has an idea, but he wants Eric to ask anyway. Glances up at him from his work, eyebrow raising at the younger man.]

[redstray]

Uhm...

[ He opens his mouth a couple of times, trying to get the words out. It didn't help that Kusanagi was watching him. ]

I can help...if you want...your hand.

[toremainbehind]

[Izumo barely blinks at the offer; instead, he gives a nod, handing Eric the burning gel and holding his hand out to him.]

D'ya know how ta apply it?

[redstray]

[ He nodded, having watched Kusanagi put it on not only himself but others. He takes the bottle and pours some out, probably a bit too much, on his own hand before awkwardly grabbing Kusanagi's hand and started to slowly apply it onto the burn. He had a frown as he concentrated, determined to do a good job, not unlike a child being serious for something so simple. ]

[He remains still to allow Eric apply it on him, watching him and then looks at his face. It nearly makes him chuckle, but he refrains doing so unless he wants to make the younger man feel embarrassed about it.

At the very least, Izumo's content enough to know Eric is learning and wanting to help others out, even if it is partially out of guilt.]

[redstray]

[ He tries his best to copy what Kusanagi did for him and finishes it up in good timing. ]

...There. Is that good?

[toremainbehind]

[Inspecting his hand, Izumo gives a nod.]

It is. Thanks.

[redstray]

[ If he was one for smiling he would be doing so but instead he just looks a bit more relaxed, glad he could help ]

You're welcome.

[That earns Eric another head pat before the barkeep cleans everything up and goes to put the kit away.

A moment later, he returns, handing Eric a glass of water.] Why not go rest? 's been a long day.

[redstray]

[ At the head pat he pouts slightly. He watches him bring him a water and he takes it, sipping a little. ]
