[How many times can we fall?]

[It's been a week since they've managed to escape.

Neither of them knew who tipped someone off about their location, who helped them escape while everything became hacked and otherwise useless in keeping them contained. It had been their downfall to let Izumo stay in the frontline, his skills almost legendary now with how effective of an assassin he has become over time. Their downfall led to their deaths, and Izumo has ran away with Eric while the remnants of that group tried to go after them.

They didn't know where to go - who to turn to.

For them, this open world was a mystery, even if Izumo has more experience than Eric when it came to the outside world. There's no one they could trust, and little to no money to their name since their captors often took the money Izumo's earned for his kills. But Izumo is adaptable, taking odd jobs here and there in order to earn enough money to save up and find a place to stay.

It's only been a couple of days ago when Izumo first ran into the leader of HOMRA, the Red King and him having traded blows before it came to a tie. They went their separate ways shortly after when an informant came running towards them, Izumo having escaped before he could be questioned.

Now, he had taken Eric to a refuge in a motel. It's small and not one of the best, but it's the best Izumo could afford on such short notice when it became obvious to him when Eric has to rest again.

His right shoulder blade itched from the burns he received from Mikoto, but he ignores it in favor of in-between watching Eric sleep and looking out the window from his perch on the windowsill.]

[ Eric doesn't like his picture getting taken and the laughing of Totsuka and Izumo's expression didn't help at all.

It takes a while but after some mumbling under his breath he slowly walked over to his brother, not really looking amused by this sudden development ]

Oh. Interesting...

[When Eric comes over, izumo places a hand on his shoulder and smiles slightly.]

Let's let this be a part of our memory, okay?

We have K cards too so it's pretty hilarious inducing XD

[ Eric huffs a bit before giving a small smile in return. ]

[A pat on Eric's head before Totsuka tells the two to strike a pose.

When it comes to the actual picture, though, the others seems to want in.]

[ After one picture, Eric turns and sees everyone else almost ready to pounce in. He looked up at his brother. ]

Izumo...

[He notices everyone else, causing him to shake his head.

Looking down at Eric, he smiles slightly.] Should we just have everyone else join us, too?

It's a lot of fun, sometimes we play as our characters XD

[ He shrugs not really caring ]

[At Eric's words, everyone gathers around and Totsuka drags Mikoto into it, too.

When everyone is all in position, Totsuka sets the timer on the camera as he puts it on the stand before rushing in to join the picture while everyone makes sure that Izumo and Eric stays in the middle.]

[ Eric feels Fujishima beside him and all the others surrounding him along with his brother. He couldn't help but smile a bit bigger, a bit brighter. he was surrounded by people that were friends...maybe even family. He never felt safe and happier then being around these people.

The picture was taken and everyone cheered. He felt many hands on his head, ruffling his hair and giving him a few shouts of happiness and encouragement. Soon after though, they all began to filter out, soon after just leaving the two and Mikoto alone in the bar. ]

That was...fun.

[Izumo starts to clean up, shaking his head at Mikoto when the other seems to actually willing to help out.]

[ He helps out what little he can. Fujishima shoos him away however when he teeters a bit to the side, a small ripple of the drug returning. He sits on the couch, watching the cleaning, feeling the sadness creeping back up.

Tomorrow morning, his brother was going to leave him.

Tomorrow he'll be alone. ]

[He tries not to think about his departure tomorrow, but he knows it can't be helped.

It'll be his first time time actually being apart from Eric so long, and the idea sort of scares him.

But Eric will be fine; he has everyone else with him.

Izumo, on the other hand, will mostly be alone while Totsuka will end up visiting him once in a while to check on him.]

Yeah.

[ He tilts his head, curling up. ]

Izumo?

Just...don't feel too alone okay? You can always call me for anything.

[ He knows that even though he wont be without his brother, Izumo will not only be without him as well but everyone that he knows. ]

Don't do anything stupid just because we won't be there to knock some sense into you either.

I think out of everyone, I'm the least likely to get into a scuffle with anyone.

[He sounds amused, but he nods anyway.

Despite their horrendous past, Izumo does try to stay out of trouble.]

I know but still...

[ If he really was pretty close to snapping and hurting anyone and everyone, being alone might help just increase instead of decrease those chances. ]

Someone has to worry about you.

I got you and Totsuka to do that enough for me.

[Izumo pats Eric's head once, a brief smile on his face.]

[redstray]

[ The pat makes him happy but he still gives a bit of a pout. ]

You can start doing that for yourself too.

I will when you will.

[He grins a bit, knowing that both of them have trouble when it comes to worrying about their own personal health.]

[ So true it makes Eric smile a little in return ]

Be an older brother and set a good example then.

Well, I'll certainly give it my best.

[ He nods. ]

[ He watched as Mikoto went up the stairs to sleep and stifled a yawn himself. It was getting late but he wanted to be with his brother as much as he could tonight. He didn't have to be away from him yet so he stayed. ]

[Izumo places a hand on his head before he finishes up the cleaning.

Eventually, he notices Eric starting to get tired.] Start getting ready for bed.

'm not tired...

[ He was being stubborn ]
