Uhm...okay. Thanks...

[ He takes the drink and slowly slide off the stool and into the main area to grab the couch. Placing the drink on the table he pulls up his knees to his chest and rests. He's a little tired, not enough to sleep but enough to want to relax and regenerate. ]

[Izumo hums in acknowledgment at the thanks, simply nodding.

He watches Eric sit on the couch before he moves behind the bar in order to sort his supplies out. A quiet atmosphere settles in, but it's comfortable at least.]

[ When he notices Kusanagi sorting supplies he tilts his head, watching silently, seeing how he does it. It was interesting. ]

Won't your hand hurt? Doing that sort of thing?

[Pausing, Izumo tilts his head back in order to look at Eric from over his shoulder.]

Nah, 's fine. I've had worse before, and 'sides, I'd rather get this done now before the guys come back.

[redstray]

Do you need help?

D'ya wanna help?

[redstray]

Uhm...If you need the help...

[ Avoids all direct answers ]

[Always the same with him, but Izumo simply gives a shrug.]

If ya wanna help, ya can. Otherwise, just sit there and relax.

[redstray]

[ But, that wasn't a direct answer. He shuffles a bit, deciding what he should do. Kusanagi was giving him two choices. Simple ones, but he couldn't make up his mind either way.

It probably took a longer time then it should have but finally he decided. If Kusanagi's hand was hurt, then he mind need help close by at least. ]

I'll...I'll help. If that's okay...

If it wasn't, I wouldn't be asking ya.

[He gives him an assuring smile.]

'sides, help is always appreciated around here.

Ah...

[ That also sounded so strange. Saying something and meaning it. Not taking it back or doing the opposite.

He nods, always ask to help, it's what Homra does, a good rule to know ]

R-right. I'll remember that.

[toremainbehind]

[His smile widens.]

Good ta know. How about we get some dessert while we're out, too? 'm sure the others would like some.

[redstray]

Dessert...too?

[ That's so much ]

Nothing special has happened...

Mm, perhaps not, but something sweet never hurts anyone.

[He gives a shrug, his smile turning sheepish.]

'sides, who says there always has ta be an occasion ta have some dessert?

[redstray]

But...to have it without a reason, what's the price to have it?

[ Everything comes at a price, especially if it seems for no reason. what did Kusanagi want them to do in order to have some? ]

If there's a price ta have dessert, then all I want is for all o'ya ta smile like ya mean it.

[redstray]

Homra...really is a strange place

If Homra is strange, then it only makes sense that you're strange, too.

Never said I was normal...

No one in this world is truly normal. [He says with a fond look, remembering everything.

But the expression quickly disappears as his eyes flickers upwards.]

[redstray]

[ Eric stops as well, looking at Kusanagi curiously, his head tilting. ]

Kusanagi-san?

[toremainbehind]

It's nothing. [He smiles his default smile.]

Something just came ta mind is all.

[ He looks away and continues to follow]
