¬ The Seven Clans are all different factions of assassin groups in Shizume City, each placed in a position where they are found to be both respected and feared by the people; though, their work as assassins are usually kept secret.

¬ Characters:

- Kusanagi Izumo: Izumo is the older half-brother of Eric Solt, and both of them were put through harsh training as assassins. Out of the two, Izumo showed more promise, the skills coming easy to him, and he ended up taking his father's last name. With the two being abused (Eric suffering the most), it prompted Izumo to train harder in order to protect his little brother. Their family was eventually killed by another assassin group that kept them captive, in which they were both forced to work for them, and became separated in the process. They eventually escape, though details are still sketchy.

¬ Eric Solt: The younger half-brother of Izumo. Being the youngest, he was often abused the most, but he endured it mostly for Izumo's sake and not to seem weak. When their parents were killed, the other assassin group treated Eric like a dog, making him do grunt work; however, without Izumo's knowledge, he also did some extra work on the side to protect his older brother. When they escape, he became friends with Fujishima.

¬ Suoh Mikoto: An heir to an assassin group, being the son of Kagutsu. Lazy but skilled, he shows no interest in taking over the group. Somehow befriended Izumo and Totsuka after Kagutsu committed suicide, prompting him to step up and take his father's 'throne'.

¬ Totsuka Tatara: A friend of Mikoto and Izumo who isn't affiliated with an assassin group. He works as an informant, however, and usually the one who is often sent as a 'messenger'. Knows some basic self-defense, but otherwise, he's still considered 'weak'.

¬ Kushina Anna: The younger sister of Neko and can still see only the color red. With no special abilities, she's just a normal girl, but she's still drawn to Mikoto, and can be quite perceptive when she wants to be. She has selective mutism.

¬ Neko: Anna's older sister. She goes to school, but became affiliated with the Silver Clan after being drawn by its King: Isana Yashiro. Somewhat skilled in fighting, Neko's role is more of an informant since her outgoing personality makes it easier for her to befriend people. Possibly have met other informants - like Totsuka - to exchange information. She keeps this side of her life a secret from Anna, though.
